Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the beauty-booking platform you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this platform.

2. Service Description

beauty-booking is an online booking platform connecting customers with beauty salons, barbershops, nail studios, and other beauty providers in Slovakia. We enable business discovery, availability viewing, and appointment booking.

3. Registration & Accounts

Customers register via Google or email (Clerk). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and must not share login credentials with third parties. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Bookings

• Appointments can be booked a minimum of 1 hour in advance.
• The maximum booking horizon is 3 months ahead.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment.
• Businesses reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments for operational reasons.

5. Payments

Payments are processed via Stripe. The platform currently runs in test (demo) mode — no real transaction will occur. In a production environment, payments would be subject to Stripe's terms and applicable Slovak/EU consumer protection law.

6. Business Subscriptions

Businesses may choose from Solo (free), Team, or Pro plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled through the customer portal.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Since this is a showcase platform, creating test bookings is welcome and expected — that's the whole point. That said, please avoid:

• Circumventing platform security mechanisms.
• Misusing other users' personal data.
• Automated scraping without written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All platform content (design, code, text) is the intellectual property of beauty-booking unless stated otherwise. Content uploaded by businesses (photos, descriptions) remains the property of the respective business.

9. Limitation of Liability

beauty-booking acts as an intermediary. We are not liable for the quality of services provided, for delays or cancellations by a business, or for inaccuracies in service descriptions. The platform's total liability is capped at the fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or an in-platform notice. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
